Pasos para instalar VSFTP server en CENTOS desde consola

#yum install vsftpd

Activamos el servicio

#chkconfig vsftpd on


# service vsftpd start
Starting vsftpd for vsftpd:                                [  OK  ]




Para probar el servicio


# ftp localhost
Connected to localhost.localdomain.
220 (vsFTPd 2.0.5)
530 Please login with USER and PASS.
530 Please login with USER and PASS.
KERBEROS_V4 rejected as an authentication type
>quit


#/etc/init.d/vsftpd status
vsftpd (pid 3078) is running...
